Introducing Trust & Safety on Play-MC
Play-MC is introducing a dedicated Trust & Safety system for reporting abuse, submitting evidence and communicating with our team throughout the review process.
Play-MC is introducing a dedicated Trust & Safety system designed to provide a clear and structured process for reporting misuse of the platform.
As Play-MC continues to serve a growing number of Minecraft communities, maintaining the integrity of the platform is an important part of ensuring that it remains dependable for everyone who uses it.
The new system is available now and is integrated directly into the Play-MC dashboard.
Reporting through Play-MC
Users can now submit reports concerning addresses or accounts that may violate Play-MC policies.
This includes cases involving impersonation, misleading use of an address, abuse of the platform or other activity that may require review.
Reports are associated with the user's Play-MC account and remain accessible from the dashboard throughout the review process.
Each submission can include a description of the issue together with the information required for our team to properly assess the case.
Evidence attachments
Reports support image and video evidence.
Supporting material can be attached when a report is submitted or added later when further information becomes available.
Keeping the report, its evidence and subsequent communication together provides our team with a more complete record of the case and allows reports to be reviewed with the appropriate context.
Communication with PlayMC Support
Reports now include direct communication with PlayMC Support.
When additional information is required, our team can contact the reporter from within the report itself. Users can respond, provide further context and submit additional evidence without creating a separate case.
This creates a continuous record of the review and gives both the reporter and our team a consistent place to manage the information related to it.
A structured review process
Reports can progress through different review states as they are assessed by the Play-MC team.
This provides greater clarity around the status of a submission and allows cases to remain properly documented throughout their lifecycle.
Reports may also be reopened when new information becomes available or when further review is required.
The purpose of this system is not simply to collect reports. It is to provide a consistent process for receiving, reviewing and responding to concerns involving the use of Play-MC.
Protecting the platform as it grows
Play-MC was created to make accessible server addresses available to Minecraft communities without requiring them to purchase and manage their own domain.
That principle remains unchanged.
At the same time, accessibility must be supported by systems that help prevent misuse and provide users with an appropriate way to raise legitimate concerns.
Trust & Safety is part of that responsibility.
By introducing reporting, evidence handling and direct communication into the platform itself, Play-MC is establishing a clearer framework for addressing abuse while continuing to keep the service accessible to the communities that rely on it.
This release represents another step in the continued development of Play-MC as a reliable platform for Minecraft communities.
Trust & Safety is available now through the Play-MC dashboard.
We will continue to improve these systems as the platform grows and as new needs emerge.
